About the event
As part of the Garland Library’s One Book, One Garland program, children’s author Cindy J. Vanous will lead an interactive workshop for adult participants focused on the art of fairytale writing. Drawing on her signature vintage-inspired storytelling style, Cindy will guide attendees through the essential elements that give fairytales their lasting emotional power, including character development, theme, and the use of gentle magic.
Participants will explore how meaningful stories are shaped and will be encouraged to begin crafting a fairytale of their own in a supportive, creative environment.
